ACH (Aluminum Chlorohydrate) Water Treatment

Northstar M-1883, also known as Aluminum Chlorohydrate (ACH), is a high-performing coagulant with a wide variety of uses in drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater. ACH performs well in removing organic matter and TSS. ACH is effective over a broad pH range.

Customers also use aluminum chlorohydrate as a settling aid and sludge thickener. It works well with a wide variety of polymers. Since ACH Water Treatment does not depress pH as much as other coagulants, it can significantly reduce or eliminate the need for post-coagulation pH adjustment.

ACH also contributes much fewer solids to coagulation processes compared to traditional coagulants, reducing solid disposal costs. Northstar’s M-1883 is a high-quality, clear solution that meets the specifications of the American Water Works Association Standard B408-18 and complies with the requirements of ANSI/NSF/CAN 60 at a maximum dosage of 250 mg/L.

The Aluminum Chlorohydrate provided by Northstar Chemical meets the following certifications:

FDA, USDA, Kosher, Halal, non-GMO, GRAS, and NSF
